The Richardson Alliance of Latino Administrators, Paraprofessionals, Educators, and Allies (RALA+) is a professional network serving Richardson ISD. We are dedicated to empowering Latino leaders and allies through leadership development, mentorship, and advocacy. Together, we work to ensure that our schools reflect the students and communities we serve.

Welcome to RALA+

Our Story

RALA+ was born from a shared vision—to build stronger connections among Latino educators and allies within Richardson ISD and beyond. What began as small conversations about representation and equity has grown into a movement focused on professional development, mentorship, and advocacy.

Through our events, partnerships, and mentorship programs, we work to open doors—abrir puertas—for future leaders and strengthen the bridge between schools, families, and the community.

Our Vision

A diverse and inclusive educational community where Latino leadership thrives and every voice contributes to a stronger future for all students.

Why RALA+ Matters

Latino students represent the majority of Richardson ISD’s population, yet Latino/a educators and leaders remain underrepresented. RALA+ exists to change this by creating pathways to leadership, celebrating culture, and ensuring every student has role models who inspire success.
